Smart Home Audit
A useful plan before the home fills with technology.
The Smart Home Audit is a standalone planning consultation and decision stage for a smart home. It makes the desired daily life, technical conditions, risks and cost picture clear before implementation is quoted.

Decision basis
A deliverable in its own right, not an expensive sales pitch.
An audit begins before the visit. We read your questionnaire, understand the most important problems or wishes and use time in the home for what cannot be established remotely.
Afterwards, we weigh the floor plan, existing technology, network readiness, desired scenes and specialist needs together. The result should be useful for a phased project and for a decision to wait.

The written plan
The plan provides context, not merely a product list. Its level of detail is adapted to the home and available information.
- Priority problems, goals and acceptance criteria
- Proposed scenes and automations with manual fallbacks
- High-level system architecture and integration direction
- Indicative product direction, not binding product promises
- Network and infrastructure conditions
- Need for an electrical installation company or other specialists
- Budget ranges, phases and decision points
- Risks, dependencies, known limitations and explicit exclusions
How to prepare for the visit
You do not need to photograph every room or create a technical inventory. A simple starting point is enough.
- A floor plan if available
- A short list of existing systems you actually use
- Two or three everyday moments you want to improve
- Known renovation plans or deadlines
- An approximate ambition or budget frame if you have one
What is not automatically included
Anything outside the audit’s defined analysis and planning work is agreed and priced separately before it begins.
- Hardware or product purchases
- Implementation, installation or programming
- Electrical installation or other regulated specialist work
- Remediation of Wi-Fi, cabling or other network infrastructure
- Detailed design for building or electrical contracting
- Travel outside the core area
- Additional meetings or substantial redesign beyond the described follow-up
Fit
When is an audit the right start?
A good fit
- You want to understand the whole before purchasing
- Several rooms or functions need to work together
- Existing products should be assessed and possibly reused
- A renovation needs smart home planning before decisions are locked
- Privacy, local operation, manual control and future supportability matter
Start elsewhere
- You are looking only for the cheapest individual product
- You need urgent electrical, lock, alarm or network service from a specialist company
- The issue is a very small, bounded troubleshooting task better suited to paid support
Request
An audit should create clarity, not pressure to buy.
